Clayton Colby Richard is an American former professional baseball pitcher turned business owner. He played Major League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, and Toronto Blue Jays.
Clayton grew up in Lafayette, IN attending McCutcheon High School. He graduated as a Valedictorian in 2003. He also earned Mr. Baseball and Mr. Football his senior year.
After his professional pitching career, he and Tyson started up Captain Spiffy out of his garage in lieu of COVID. Clayton then took on the baseball head coaching job at Lafayette Jefferson High School. The rest is history!
Clayton resides in Lafayette, Indiana with his wife, Ashley, and his three children: Cashton, Cannon, and Kile.

Tyson acts as the Managing Partner at Captain Spiffy. He runs the logistics, day-day operations, manufacturer purchasing, wholesale and retail sales, digital marketing and social media. Clayton is one of his long time friends whom he developed a relationship with early in his high school career through a mutual interest in baseball.
Tyson grew up in Lafayette, IN and attended McCutcheon High School where he captained the baseball team and participated on the basketball team while maintaining a studious academic career as Valedictorian and National Honor Society President. He was a collegiate student-athlete who spent time at Purdue University, Wabash Valley College, and the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH). Tyson graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration from UNOH in 2021 and captained the baseball team during his tenure there.
Tyson now resides in Lafayette, Indiana with his wife, Averi.
